Job Description:

The Personal Injury Case Assistant supports the team through the pre-litigation process. This role manages case files, gathers and organizes records, communicates with clients and insurance carriers, assists with settlements, and supports attorneys with discovery, court filings, and trial preparation.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage personal injury cases from intake to trial.
  • Obtain, review, and organize medical records, bills, accident reports, and other case documentation.
  • Maintain communication with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel.
  • Prepare demand packages and assist with settlement negotiations.
  • Draft legal documents, pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence.
  • Coordinate court filings, service of process, depositions, mediations, and hearings.
  • Monitor case deadlines and maintain accurate case records.
  • Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including exhibits, witness files, and case summaries.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Paralegal certificate, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience in pre-litigation personal injury law.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
  • 2+ years' experience
